| Position Summary |
This one year position has potential to extend to a total of 24 months. The post-doc research associate will fill a major role in the multilevel analysis in China and will have a major substantive interest in urbanization and its effects on diet, activity, weight, and cardiometabolic risk in China. This postdoctoral fellow will focus on the urbanization process and the underlying social, economic, and community-related mechanisms for changes in cardiometabolic risk-related behaviors China. This postdoc will also focus on targets for prevention. As such, this postdoctoral fellow will take the lead on papers relating to the social and economic aspects of the proposed study. This will be a central substantive role, in understanding and interpreting changes related to urbanization, for the project. |

A doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Nutrition or related field |
| Qualifications and Experience |
Applicants should have a major substantive interest in urbanization and its effects on diet, activity, weight, and cardiometabolic risk in China. Preference will be given to candidates with strong collaborative research experience in longitudinal data analysis and multilevel methods. |
