NIH Public Access Policy Goes In to Effect Today, April 7

The NIH Public Access Policy goes in to effect today, April 7th, 2008. Any peer-reviewed article that is accepted for publication today or beyond and that arises out of direct funding from NIH falls within the policy. The final peer-reviewed manuscript of the article must be deposited to PubMed Central upon acceptance of publication. Make sure to address copyright when signing copyright transfer agreements!!
