John Stewart is a Professor of Economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests include industrial organization and antitrust, but for the last twenty years, his research has centered on health issues in less developed countries. He teaches courses in Industrial Organization, Econometrics and Principle of Economics. He has consulted with government agencies and private firms on antitrust and regulatory matters and has consulted with government agencies and international research agencies on health care issues in less developed countries. He is currently working is currently working as technical adviser for the Center of Excellece in Economic Evaluation at Hanoi Medical University and as an investigator with Measurement, Learning & Evaluation for the Urban Reproductive Health funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation |
