Oksana Leukhina is a macroeconomist with main interests in the fields of growth and fluctuations, demographics, and public economics. She has studied the process of growth and development over long time scales and focused on the demographic transition and industrialization of England. She has also investigated the dramatic rise in labor force participation of married women in the U.S. in the last 50 years. Currently, Oksana Leukhina is investigating the effect of population aging on capital accumulation and asset returns through a lifecycle model that accounts for intergenerational transfers. |
