Linda Adair
Linda Adair is a biological anthropologist and CPC fellow interested in factors influencing the health and nutrition of women, infants, and children, primarily in developing countries. She is the principal investigator of longitudinal follow-up surveys of the ongoing Cebu (Philippines) Longitudinal Health and Nutrition Survey. Adair focuses on the long-term health and functional consequences of early child nutrition, including growth and body composition and cardiovascular disease risk factors, as well as education and work outcomes. She also studies factors associated with the dramatic obesity trend in adult Filipino women, and its associated morbidities.
