Resident Technical Advisor for Infectious Disease M&E
The person in this position will draft M&E frameworks, provide M&E training, coordinate regional efforts to harmonize M&E standards and support the use of data for decision-making.
ICF Macro has an immediate opening for a Resident Technical Advisor (RTA) based in Bangkok, Thailand under the MEASURE Evaluation Phase III project. The RTA will support MEASURE Evaluation’s infectious disease and avian influenza work in the region, through both region-wide and country-specific activities. The position will be supported by MEASURE Evaluation’s U.S.-based Activity Leads and other technical staff as necessary to implement the full scopes of work in the region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft M&E frameworks
- Provide M&E training
- Coordinate regional efforts to harmonize M&E standards
- Support the use of data for decision-making by policy-makers and program managers
Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in international health or a related discipline
- At least two years of experience working in the region
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with U.S. government agencies, host country institutions, U.S. government implementing partners and international technical organizations
- 25-30% travel within the region required
- This is a local/regional hire. Preference given to candidates from Southeast Asia
