The International Health Facility Assessment Network was developed to promote communication among professionals interested in exchanging information, sharing published works and materials, and communicating notable news in health information systems data development and use. Although the focus is on non-routine health information, mainly health facility surveys/censuses and events presented on the listserv captures routine health information systems, particularly the nexus between facility- and population-based data collection and use. The listserv serves as a platform for health information system developers, users, policy makers, and recent graduates to meet and network.
