Routine Data Quality Assessment Training in Zimbabwe and Botswana
MEASURE Evaluation has partnered with the Botswana Ministry of Health to improve data processes through the Routine Data Quality Assessments methodology for 30 programs. MEASURE Evaluation assisted the ministry this year in customizing the RDQA tool for the country’s context, and in drafting standard operating procedures for maintaining data quality.
Data Quality Audits and Training in Mozambique
MEASURE Evaluation has conducted eight Data Quality Audits among health organizations in Mozambique since 2011; and has provided training in Routine Data Quality Assessments to 16 organizations, enabling them to perform their own assessments on a continuing basis.

Mozambique Mortality Survey Results
In order to gather baseline information on mortality in Mozambique, MEASURE Evaluation and the Mozambican National Institute of Statistics, the Mozambican Ministry of Health, the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, United Nations Children’s Fund, and the Manhica Demographic Surveillance Site collaborated on a post-census mortality survey.
Data Demand and Use Successes Chronicled in Rwanda
In an effort to develop a collaborative and evidence-based approach to reducing the spread of HIV in Rwanda, Rwanda’s government has committed to strengthening systems to ensure decisions are being informed by accurate data.
