MEASURE Evaluation has produced an annotated bibliography of peer-reviewed and gray health science literature relevant to the Eastern Caribbean region. Articles published between 2005 and 2012 on HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, and cancer, are included in the bibliography. The review also includes articles on obesity, oral health, and interpersonal violence. The bibliography contains 169 articles or reports, and 131 of these are open-source documents.

Stakeholders in several Eastern Caribbean countries are using it to strengthen health information systems, policy, and program planning. The bibliography also inspired the expansion of a central Caribbean database to house the articles and reports to provide public health officials and the general public with universal access to information.

Peer-reviewed journals were searched using the databases PubMed, EBSCO SocINDEX, EBSCO Academic Search Complete, EBSCO PsycINFO, Ovid Global Health, and Anthropology Plus. Researchers identified gray literature by hand-searches of 37 Web sites, including those maintained by multi-lateral organizations, bi-lateral organizations, and Caribbean regional organizations mandated to support the health of Caribbean people.
