Courses and Resources

MEASURE Evaluation has developed more than 24 online course offerings for use by university faculty, research institutions, experts in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and in health information systems, public health professionals, and students worldwide.

Since the launch of the flagship “M&E Fundamentals” course in 2007, nearly 50,000 individuals have completed online courses developed by MEASURE Evaluation, enhancing their capacity to contribute to health and development efforts nationally and globally. Now available for download, these materials continue to serve as primers for those interested in developing their M&E capacity; may be used as resources in traditional classroom settings; or may be used to create a blended learning experience.

Course Materials

MEASURE Evaluation created online courses on an array of M&E topics. Developed by global experts, these free, downloadable materials contain state-of-the-art information on M&E-related topics for researchers, program managers, trainers, policy makers, students, and other public health professionals.

Mini-Tutorials and Non-Certificate Courses

These interactive, web-based modules provide information and tools for students and professionals on health and population-related topics. Topics include: GIS, Implementation Research, PLACE (Priorities for Local AIDS Control Efforts), multiple decrement life tables and population analysis for planners.

Certificate Courses

MEASURE Evaluation staff have contributed technical content to online courses, some of which are available through USAID's Global Health e-Learning Center.  MEASURE Evaluation also offers a certificate course in M&E of Malaria Programs in French and English.
