Central Office Manuals
Data Processing Manager's Manual provides both an overview and step-by-step discussion of the SAVVY data processing system. The SAVVY data system uses CSPro, a free software developed and supported by the U.S. Census Bureau, available for downloading at: http://www.census.gov/ipc/www/cspro/downinfo.htm.
The relevant SAVVY system applications that use CSPro are within the folder called “SAVVY CSPro.” All files within the SAVVY CSPro subfolder need to be copied to your computer’s hard drive in order for you to run them (the SAVVY data processing system files cannot be used directly from this webpage). Two instructional manuals for starting and operating CSPro software, CSPro Getting Started, version 3.3, and CSPro User’s Guide, version 3.3, are in the “CSPro” folder.
SAVVY Budget Manual and SAVVY budget spreadsheet template software are used in the budgeting process for SAVVY planning.
Verbal Autopsy Certifier and Coder's Manual provides an overview of cause-of-death certification and an outline of the step-by-step process involved in coding information collected from verbal autopsy procedures.
Field Office Manager's Manual describes the roles and responsibilities of the field office manager, a senior district official responsible for managing operations of the SAVVY system at the district or province level.
