The MEASURE Evaluation Project is collaborating with the Ethiopian Public Health Association, the Department of Community Health and the Demographic Training and Research Centre, Addis Ababa University to offer a three-week training course in monitoring and evaluation of population health and nutrition programs. This English-language course will take place in 2008.
The workshop is an intensive hands-on training in the fundamentals of monitoring and evaluation and in state-of-the-art practices in the field. Course modules will cover the basic concepts and practices used in the development of plans for performance monitoring and impact evaluation and provide knowledge about recent developments in monitoring and evaluation tools and techniques. The workshop targets mid-level health professionals with research interests and/or experience with M&E of population, health and nutrition programs.
