Impact Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs, Mexico

MEASURE Evaluation, in collaboration with the Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública (INSP), Cuernavaca, México, offers a regional workshop titled "Impact Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs" for Spanish speaking professionals.

This workshop provides intensive training in the concepts and practice of program impact evaluation. The goal is to provide professionals responsible for evaluating PHN programs with appropriate conceptual frameworks, methods and tools for examining the impact of their programs on health-related behavior and health outcomes. The workshop intends to develop participant's criteria for choosing the appropriate analysis method given the characteristics of the program, the availability of data and the health outcome to be evaluated.

A limited number of MEASURE Evaluation fellowships are available to qualified students.

This workshop is planned for July/August 2010.
