MEASURE Evaluation, in partnership with the Higher Institute of Management for Health and the African Center of Higher Education in Management, is offering an opportunity for training in routine health information systems (RHIS) for professionals in Francophone Africa.
The course, to be held May 3-21, 2010, will focus on RHIS performance improvement in terms of quality of data and use of routine health information for resolving problems. It will meet an urgent need identified in the field for capacity development in RHIS and community health information systems to increase the use of good quality data from the routine health information in an efficient and effective way leading to better decision-making.
The course is designed for:
- Government and NGO professionals responsible for the management of health services and programs at the national and regional levels
- Government and NGO professionals responsible for the management of routine health information
- Government and NGO professionals responsible for follow-up and evaluation of health programs
- Technical support staff of projects aiming at the improvement of the health system management
Applications must be received by April 10, 2010.
