MEASURE Evaluation, in partnership with the Centre Africain d'Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG), offers a regional workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation of HIV/AIDS Programs, taught in French. The workshop will take place February 11 - 22, 2013, in Dakar, Senegal.
This workshop offers intensive training that covers the fundamental concepts and tools for monitoring and evaluating HIV/AIDS programs. Workshop sessions include:
- Role of information in the strategic decision-making
- M&E frameworks, indicators (selection, calculation and interpretation), information systems, M&E plan/development plans
- Data sources and data quality
- M&E of HIV programs (Transmission Prevention Mother / Child, VCT, BCC, OVC, care and treatment, TB/VIH, HIV surveillance etc.)
- Geographic information system
- Gender and HIV; HIV data triangulation
- Modules and questions specific to the African region will be also discussed
In addition, modules on program areas and cross-cutting issues appropriate for Africa are also included.
Workshop delivered in French.
This course targets mid-level health and population officers, program managers, and other professionals involved with the implementation of population, health, and nutrition programs.
