Impact Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs

The MEASURE Evaluation Project in collaboration with the Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública (INSP), Cuernavaca, México offers a regional workshop on "Impact Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs," for Spanish speaking professionals. The three-week course will be offered again from July 21 - August 8, 2008.  The course description and application material for the 2008 workshop can be downloaded through the links above.

Taught in Spanish, this workshop will provide intensive training in the concepts and practice of program impact evaluation. The goal is to provide professionals responsible for evaluating PHN programs with appropriate conceptual frameworks, methods and tools for examining the impact of their programs on health-related behavior and health outcomes. The workshop intends to develop participant's criteria for choosing the appropriate analysis method given the characteristics of the program, the availability of data and the health outcome to be evaluated.

A limited number of MEASURE Evaluation fellowships are available to qualified students.
