Monitoring and Evaluation of Health Programs at the District Level: Practical Applications

The MEASURE Evaluation Project, in collaboration with the Centre Africain d'Etudes Superieures en Gestion (CESAG) in Dakar, Senegal will offer a three-week Francophone workshop, entitled Monitoring and Evaluation of Health Programs at the District Level: Practical Applications from June 18 - July 6, 2007. The language of instruction will be French.
The objective of the workshop Monitoring and Evaluation of Health Programs at the District Level: Practical Applications is to enhance the capacity of health professionals involved in monitoring and evaluation of health programs at the district level. This workshop combines theory, state-of-the-art practices, and hands-on application of monitoring and evaluation tools. It is specifically targeted to francophone professionals from Ministries of Health, PVO/NGOs, donor agencies and public health institutions responsible for implementing or supporting the monitoring and evaluation of health programs at the district level.
MEASURE Evaluation is a U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded project implemented by the Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in partnership with the John Snow Research & Training Institute, Macro International, and the Tulane University School of Public Health.The faculty for this course will be drawn from CESAG, MEASURE Evaluation, and Santé Familiale et Prévention du SIDA (SFPS) Project (Regional Bureau/Abidjan) as well as other projects and organizations in the region.

Le Suivi et Evaluation des Programmes de Santé au Niveau du District: Applications Pratiques

Le projet MEASURE Evaluation vous informe de la tenue d'un atelier francophone sur le suivi et évaluation. Cet atelier de trois semaines intitulé: Le Suivi et Evaluation des Programmes de Santé au Niveau du District: Applications Pratiques, sera tenu en collaboration avec le Centre Africain d'Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG) de Dakar, Sénégal.
L'objectif de l'atelier est de renforcer les capacités des professionnels de la santé impliqués dans le domaine du suivi et évaluation des programmes de santé au niveau du district. Cet atelier couvre à la fois la théorie, les évolutions récentes et les applications pratiques du suivi et évaluation. L'atelier cible les professionels (au sein des organisations gouvernementales et non gouvernementales, et institutions de santé publique) dont les responsabilités comportent la mise en oeuvre ou le soutien du suivi et évaluation des programmes de santé au niveau du district.
MEASURE Evaluationest un projet financé par l'Agence des Etats Unis pour le Développement International (USAID) et mis en oeuvre par le Centre d'Etudes Démographiques de l'Université de la Caroline du Nord à Chapel Hill en partenariat avec John Snow Inc., Research & Training Institute (JSI/R&T), MACRO International et l'Ecole de Santé Publique de l'Université Tulane. Les instructeurs seront choisis au sein du projet MEASURE Evaluation, du CESAG, du projet Santé Familiale et Prévention du Sida (SFPS-Regional Bureau/Abidjan) et parmi le personnel d'autres projets et organisations de la région.
