CPC Fellow Mouw quoted in News & Observer story about new Census Research Data Center in RTP

On Tuesday, Oct. 19, a new Census Research Data Center opened in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. CPC Fellow Ted Mouw is one of the researchers who will use the center's data. A story about the new center appeared in the News & Observer.

UNC-Chapel Hill sociologist Ted Mouw hopes to inject some cold data into a red-hot public debate. In dealing with the rhetoric related to immigration and its impact on the job market, Mouw is using a research tool coveted by social scientists: a U.S. Census Bureau facility housing massive amounts of confidential "microdata."
