Feb 8, 2011

A study by UNC sociologist and CPC Fellow Lisa Pearce and Clemson's Melinda Lundquist Denton assesses the role of religion in the lives of young people.

The two co-authored a book, A Faith of their Own: Stability and Change in the Religiosity of America's Adolescents (Oxford University Press, 2011), which discusses the study findings in detail. Pearce and Denton created five categories to better classify and understand the varying religious views of adolescents.
