CPC Fellow Cai explains flaws in China's one-child policy claims for NPR story

With the world's population reaching 7 billion, China recently announced that its one-child policy prevented around 400 million births and helped slow world population growth. However, CPC Fellow Yong Cai and other demographers believe China has highly overestimated the number of prevented births. An NPR article features Cai's research and input to help explain why China's one-child policy may not be as effective as the government claims.
