Household Assets File
The
CHNS Household Water, Sanitation and Asset Master File contains information
regarding household facilities and assets. As a longitudinal file, this file
contains multiple years of data for each household. A Household can have from 1 to 7 years of
data as designated by the WAVE
variable which contains the survey year, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1997, 2000, 2004 or
2006.

file consolidates household asset data from 8 survey files:
