Master Birth History File

The CHNS Birth History Master File contains information from the Every Married Women Surveys and is supplemented with births identified in the Child Parent Relationship (M07CPREL) file. This file contains only one observation per birth, even though the same birth may have been reported multiple times (No birth history data was collected in 1989 and 1997). The WAVE variable is only used to indicate the last survey for which birth history data is included.
