Research Team
The CHNS is coordinated by Barry Popkin of the Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina. The CHNS is a collaborative project of the National Institute of Nutrition and Food Safety (INFS), the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CCDC), and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). Dr. Fengying Zhai, Associate Director of the INFS, is the director of the Chinese group.
