NASA Large-Scale Biosphere-Atmosphere (LBA) Experiment in Amazonia - The NASA-1 and NASA-2 projects are part of the NASA LBA-ECO program. As part of this program, they contribute to the study of land use & land cover dynamics in the Amazon rainforest.

Centro de Estudios de Población y Desarollo Social (CEPAR) - CEPAR is our collaborating institution in Ecuador. The premier demographic and socio-economic survey institution in Ecuador, they are an NGO that has been responsible for all the national demographic and health surveys since 1985.

USGS EROS Data Center - USGS’s Earth Resources Observation Systems Data Center. Provides a wide variety of spatial data products.

EOS-WEBSTER: Earth Science Data from the University of New Hampshire - A digital library of free, customized Earth Science data.

Centro de Levantamientos Integrados de Recursos Naturales por Sensores Remotos (CLIRSEN) - Ecuador’s organization charged with the collection, processing and distribution of remotely sensed satellite imagery.

Space Imaging - Colorado-based corporation that operates the IKONOS satellite, and also distributes other remotely sensed imagery.

SPOT Image Corporation - French-owned company that operates the SPOT medium-resolution satellite. Provides slightly higher spatial resolution than Landsat.
