Leap Impact Evaluation: Third Wave to Determine Long-term Impacts of LEAP
This project will support UNICEF Ghana in implementing a rigorous impact evaluation of the Livelihood Empowerment against Poverty (LEAP) Program in Ghana. This includes determining the long -term impacts of the program by implementing a third wave of the LEAP evaluation which began in 2010 and had a subsequent follow-up in 2012, as well as establishing a new nationally representative baseline which includes households fitting the new eligibility criteria for LEAP. This project would be governed by the Long Term Agreement (LTA) (UNICEF Office of Research (OoR) contract number 42105550 ) previously established between UNC CPC and OoR. The LTA between UNC CPC and OoR also builds on a previously established Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two organizations, for cooperation on IEs on social protection programs, specifically of government-led cash transfer programs in sub-Saharan Africa.
