Editing Services
CPC
fellows, postdocs, visiting scholars, and staff may use CPC editorial
services for their population-related scholarly writing. Services
include editing of manuscripts such as journal articles, papers,
reports, proposals, and book chapters. Services also include
verification of references, design advice, consultation on publishing
procedures, and assistance with obtaining permission to use copyrighted
materials. Predocs are eligible for help with extracurricular
population writing, but not with writing for coursework, theses, or
dissertations.
Work can be edited either on hard copy or electronically. Please allow two or more weeks for the completion of editing work.
In most cases, CPC's editing services are provided by contractors,
most of whom have worked with the Center for many years. The fees
charged by these contractors are paid by the user's discretionary
funds, usually investigator's overhead. See Tom Heath if you have
questions. More information can
be obtained by sending an email message to Editorial
Services.
