Proposal Processing Services

The Carolina Population Center offers assistance in proposal development for faculty fellows, postdoctoral fellows, and other researchers wishing to submit proposals through the center. It is our goal to provide researchers with guidance in assembling their research grant applications.

Proposal preparation services include:

• Providing overall guidance of the entire process
• Interpreting and complying with funding agency guidelines
• Directing researchers to various center support staff in preparing budgets
• Gathering documentation (e.g., biosketches, description of center resources)
• Obtaining necessary UNC-CH officials’ signatures
• Formatting text and tables
• Compiling completed proposal packages, copying, and submitting to the funding agencies

Services extend to post-award management by assisting CPC researchers with the preparation of noncompeting continuation applications and interim reports. The proposal tracking database notifies PIs two months prior to the next funding cycle to provide annual progress reports.
