The Carolina Population Center is hiring part-time interviewers to assist with data collection in the Outer Banks and other parts of the NC coastal plain for the Dynamics of Extreme Events, People, and Places (DEEPP) project. Interviewers will complete a training course for which they will be paid. After training, interviewers will visit selected households, explain the purpose of the survey, and communicate with respondents accordingly to coordinate a time to conduct in-person or phone interviews using the survey developed by the DEEPP team. The interviewers will enter accurate and complete information using a laptop which will be provided to make it easy and efficient.
