|Description of Work||
This position will manage the day-to-day operations of the Knowledge Management and Communications unit for the Measure Program at the Carolina Population Center. This includes coordinating with staff and consultants that provide editorial, formatting, graphic design, website development and content updates, and social media outreach in support of all projects under the Measure Program. Current awards include Data for Impact, TB DIAH, and PMI Measure Malaria. These awards are focused on global public health evaluation; tuberculosis data systems; and malaria surveillance, monitoring, and evaluation systems around the world.
Responsibilities will include managing the workflow for publications with the KM team; assigning specific work tasks to KM staff and delegating work to consultants as needed; and facilitating development and posting of content for project websites, newsletters, social media campaigns, webinars, and other promotional materials.
The successful candidate should have experience in or knowledge of best practices in publication and communications. Supervisory or workflow coordination experience preferred.Â
This is a time-limited position expected to last from approximately October 2021 through February 2022. The successful applicant will be expected to come into the office 1-2 days per week and work remotely the remainder of the work week.Â
|Education and Experience||
Bachelorâs degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
