Summary

A scientific training program for both predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees from both the social and biological/health sciences. Junior scientists will learn how to identify, understand, and produce new knowledge about the complex constellation of factors that fundamentally infuence U.S. health and well-being from birth through adulthood, thereby identifying novel points of intervention to improve health and reduce health disparities across the life course. Trainees also receive interdisciplinary mentorship and training in a wide array of content areas, ranging from social inequalities to biological processes.
