I am interested in creating evidence-based research to inform policy and practice. Prior to starting the doctoral program at UNC, I received my MPH from Tulane University and worked as a research coordinator for the University of California, San Francisco. As a Ph.D. student at UNC, I have worked on various research projects and statistical analyses, including cost-effectiveness and outcome evaluation modeling for North Carolina's Medicaid program, multivariate regression analyses, and longitudinal data analysis with the National Survey of Family Growth and the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health.
Research Interests
Adolescent health; longitudinal patterns of intimate partner violence; and sexual minority health.
