Graduate Research Assistant - Social determinants of Alzheimer's disease project

Kaitlin Shartle is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her primary research interests are in life course and aging, population health, and social relationships. Her current research explores social isolation and its impacts on health, social processes of cognitive decline across the life course, sudden unexpected death among working aged adults, and racial/ethnic disparities in the burden of bereavement.
