Lori Delaney is Carolina Population Center’s librarian specializing in population studies and scholarly communications. She supports CPC Fellows’ research by developing effective search strategies and alerts in literature databases, conducting literature reviews, and obtaining access to information and resources, including difficult to find materials. Delaney provides scholarly communications guidance on authors’ rights, copyright and fair use, and copyright permission to reuse or republish material. She oversees CPC’s compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy.
In addition to providing oversight of the CPC Publications database, she manages several publications databases by CPC’s longitudinal research projects including China Health and Nutrition Survey, Cebu Longitudinal Health and Nutrition Survey, and the Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey.
Delaney provides technical assistance on using EndNote and other bibliographic management programs SciWheel, Mendeley and Zotero.
Delaney is also developing the CPC Archive, which has 990 items so far.
