Research Project Personnel
I have the distinct privilege to work with Dr. Penny Gordon-Larsen and Dr. Annie Green Howard (and an amazing group of researchers and students) on the China Health and Nutrition Study - a longtidunal study of the dramatic demographic, economic and nutritional changes that China is currently undergoing.
I'm grateful to be a recipient of a NIH T32 training grant to support my research into the intestinal microbiome. My most recent work involves evaluating the association between fermented and capsaicin-containing foods and blood pressure, and attempting to disentangle the contribution of the intestinal microbiome to the metabolically normal obese phenotype.
I look forward to collaborating with CPC team-members and am enjoying the stimulating and collegial environment that CPC has built.
