Kathryn Carrier manages all aspects of Add Health research related to the collection of biomarkers in the field to include anthropometry, phlebotomy, microbiome specimens, medication inventory and recent health history. She oversees collaborations with partner data collection companies as well as all laboratories involved in primary and ancillary Add Health study research. She is also responsible for Add Health administrative oversight for budgeting, Institutional Review Board compliance, contractual agreements and consultation with ancillary studies interested in incorporating biospecimens into their research.
