The Nang Rong Projects data is now accessible to researchers in the form of public-use data and restricted-use data at the Data Sharing for Demographic Research (DSDR) project of ICPSR at the University of Michigan.

Public Use Social Network Data

Social network variables constructed from the 1994 and 2000 Social Survey data are now available in the Public Use Data section.

Constructed Data

There are several data files that have been constructed from different elements in the social survey and spatial analysis data. The new Constructed Data section has detailed documentation on these data files and variables.

Identifiers

The data section of the website now has a section dedicated to documentation on the Identifiers of the Nang Rong Projects data archive. The identifier types included are village, household, individual/person, migrant, person-year and plots.

Public Use Data

Public-Use Data is available for download! This includes most of the 1984, 1994, and 2000 household census data as well as the 1995 and 2000-01 migrant follow-up data.
