Objective: To explore the dietary behavior of rural women and the existing problems and thus provide evidence for health education about diet and nutrition.Methods: A questionnaire survey of the general status,dietary behavior,and diet-related knowledge was performed in 420 rural women from Shenyang suburb.Results: The major problems were irregular diet,imbalanced diet,lack of nutrition,and lack of diet-related knowledge.Conclusion: It is necessary to carry out diet and nutrition education,change the unreasonable dietary habits,and improve the health level in rural women.
