Paul Voss is Research Professor of Sociology and Senior Spatial Analyst at The Odum Institute for Research in Social Science at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). His research areas include spatial demography, applied demography, small-area population estimation and forecasting, and internal migration. He has served as a consultant to the US Census Bureau on methodology and applications of the American Community Survey and on several scientific panels with the National Research Council, National Academy of Sciences.
