CPC Fellow Ashu Handa appointed as Chief Economist for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)

Congratulations to CPC Fellow Ashu Handa who recently went on leave to serve as Chief Economist and Director of Economic & Social Policy for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)! He is based at UNICEF’s Global Child Poverty Center in Panama City and will lead UNICEF’s program and policy work in child poverty, public finance, livelihoods and social protection which includes both system-strengthening and the direct delivery of cash for emergency relief and front-line workers.
