Philip N. Cohen, CPC Fellow and UNC Associate Professor of Sociology, has been awarded funding for the project Management Matters: Consequences of Managerial Composition. This project will examine the association between managerial composition and inequality among nonmanagerial workers. Funded by the National Science Foundation through March 2008, this will be the first study to combine longitudinal organizational data with a national sample of U.S. workers in a study of managerial composition and labor market outcomes.
