A recently published BYU study found that 55 per cent of the top 40 books for teens feature some sort of sexual content. Articles by Fox News and Desert News discussed these findings and relied on the expertise of CPC Fellow Jane Brown to help explain the study’s results. Brown’s earlier research findings indicate that exposure to high sexual content in media can increase the likelihood that teens will engage in sexual activities.
