A new study, co-authored by CPC Fellow Yang Yang, found that today’s young adults may live shorter lives than their predecessors. Within the Futurity article, Yang indicates that rising obesity rates are likely to lead to increased health problems and earlier deaths for younger generations if substantial health changes are not made. Yang also stressed the importance of developing better tools and methods for predicting the long term effects of obesity and other health problems.
