Summary

This project seeks to evaluate the effects of state-level SNAP purchase restrictions on food spending patterns and implications for participants and retailers. The study will span 3 years and will be led by Pourya Valizadeh at Texas A&M University (TAMU). UNC-Chapel Hill via the Carolina Population Center will serve as a vendor and will support the research efforts.
