We agree that vaginal discharge patterns may be highly correlated with probability of pregnancy by cycle day. However, we suspect it may be difficult to find couples both willing to participate in a contraceptive trial for methods other than natural family planning and sufficiently trained to provide daily vaginal mucus information.URL
