Abstract
The publication of this issue of the Maternal and Child Health Journal heralds our second year of publication. In and of itself, this is a noteworthy achievement that our whole maternal and child health (MCH) field can take pride in. It is especially gratifying for those of us who have worked so hard over many years to create the MCH Journal, as it is the realization a dream. Now that the MCH Journal exists, our challenge must shift to make it truly a vibrant, ongoing asset for the entire MCH field.
