Scanning the article titles in this month's BJOG, one is impressed by the diversity of topics contained in the medical discipline of obstetrics and gynaecology. Subjects range from surgery to psychology, to child wellbeing to cancer prevention, to sexuality and gender. All reflect the wide range of perturbances and pathology unique to women in their crucial biologic task of reproduction. One should never be bored in our specialty or while reading this journal.
