Abstract
Over the past century the modern science of medicine has slowly embraced the paradigm that it needs to be evidence-based. This has resulted in large clinical trials being conducted on an array of clinical questions with the findings of those experiments guiding practice, rather than clinical intuition and expert opinion. We proudly ask our learners what the evidence says about a clinical dilemma and strive to follow guidelines based on empiricism rather than our intuition.
