Abstract
Beyond education and clinical care improvement, a global biomedical journal has a major responsibility for the dissemination of information from the leading edge of science, so that clinicians have the best science available to inform patient care. While the great majority of our pages are dedicated to long-standing and familiar diseases and disorders, such as dystocia and dysplasia, emerging infections and novel technologies push BJOG to create informative content and get that out to our readers’ computers and smart phones.
