Abstract

There has been a growing interest among scientists, regulatory agencies, and the public in the relation between environmental exposures and the risk of disease among children, including pesticides and cancer. The paucity of experimental data on the biologic mechanisms Unking parental or childhood pesticide exposure to the development of childhood malignancies means that (for better or worse), at present, epidemiologic clues provide the primary basis of our understanding.
