A five-year project funded by NIH, Phase 2 of the Add Health Parent Study (AHPS) is an innovative intergenerational biosocial study that will increase the diversity of the AHPS sample and add new cognitive and genetic data to allow for the study of risk factors for Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias (AD/ADRD). Housed at Carolina Population Center, AHPS is currently looking for a research assistant to join the amazing investigative team. The research assistant will help with overall daily tasks that include replying to emails, phone calls and following up participant requests, especially those that pertain to the AD/ADRD assessment protocols. The research assistant will work closely with the AD/ADRD Assessment project manager and programmer to assist them in close monitoring of the assessment data, trouble shoot data issues and prepare any updates to the protocols to the IRB for approval.   • AHPS Project Manager

Housed at Carolina Population Center, AHPS is currently looking for a Project Manager to join the amazing investigative team. The AHPS project manager will manage overall activities for this project, including all aspects of project start up (e.g., implementation of study design, instrument development, meetings subcontractors, etc.); develop project plans and timelines; coordinate UNC IRB human subjects and funding compliance for the study; conduct financial management of project activities and subcontracts; and draft reports for the funding agency project monitors.  To learn more about the position go to https://unc.peopleadmin.com/postings/266436
